The History Behind Calcon Inc.
With over 30 years of experience in custom homebuilding across Northwest Arkansas, Calcon Inc. has built more than just homes—we’ve built a legacy rooted in craftsmanship, community, and family values.
Our story began in a small office near Tom and Velena Callis’s home in downtown Bentonville, where they founded Callis Construction with a shared passion for building and a strong family vision. As the Callis family grew, so did the company. Twin brothers Chris and Jon, along with lifelong friend Drew Mayer, officially joined the team after college—bringing fresh energy, business insight, and a drive for expansion.
As the company evolved, the name became Calcon Inc., honoring our origins while embracing a broader vision. Chris and Jon brought years of hands-on experience and leadership, while Drew contributed a keen sense for investment and strategic growth. Together, they helped Calcon expand both locally and nationally—taking on commercial remodels across the U.S., while continuing to build exceptional homes and neighborhoods in Northwest Arkansas.
A few years later, sister Kellie rounded out the executive team, infusing the company with strong leadership, dedication, and a deep commitment to the Calcon legacy.
